Supplement requests are submitted through the HI-Tech PDR supplement portal. All supplement requests must be submitted online.

How do I know if my supplement has been received?

A confirmation email will be sent to the email submitted with the request. The email will contain a link to view the supplement request.

What if additional information is needed to process the supplement request?

If additional information is needed to process your request, we will email a request to upload additional documents and photos.

How do I know when my supplement is approved?

Hi-Tech PDR will email a completed supplement to the repair shop. The insurance company receives the file electronically with payment instructions.

What are the required documents and photos to upload with my supplement request?

  2. Supplement request in electronic estimating format
  3. PDR estimate
  4. Quality photos showing the additional damage requested with PDR light / Striped Line Board

How do I submit an additional supplement request?

If an additional supplement is needed, then follow the initial supplement submission process. Please submit all necessary photos and documents to support your request.  

Who do I contact to check on the status of my supplement request?

Please follow the dedicated supplement request link and enter a message to Hi-Tech PDR. A representative will follow up promptly.

How long does it take to process my supplement?

In many cases the supplement will be processed in 24-48 hours. All required information should be submitted to ensure the supplement can be processed immediately.

What types of documents can I include with my supplement request.?

The following types of documents may be uploaded:  .DOC, .DOCX, .GIF, .JPEG, .JPG, .PDF, .PNG, .PPT, .PPTX, .RTF, .TIF, .TIFF, .TXT, .XLS, .XLSX. (Review acceptable documents and size limits)

Can I edit my supplement request?

The supplement cannot be modified once submitted. Please follow the supplement review link and submit an addendum explaining the changes to your request.

What is an Authorization to Repair or Direction to Pay?

An authorization to repair is an agreement between the auto repair shop and insured. This agreement outlines the work to be performed and cost. All supplements require an authorization to repair per the insurance companies guidelines. We cannot process the request without a repair agreement.

Does Hi-Tech PDR issue supplement payments?

No, the insurance company will review the supplement and issue payment. All payment inquiries should be directed to the insurance company.

Is the supplement approved once submitted to Hi-Tech PDR?

No, Hi-Tech PDR will review all submitted information and determine if a field inspection will be needed. All supplements must be authorized by Hi-Tech PDR prior to starting repairs.
